SECOND Call for abstracts; IAEE Conference Bangalore, India, June 12-14, 2025

The 13th International Conference on Ethics Education will take place in Bengaluru, India, between June 12-14, 2025. The conference will be organized by the International Association for Education in Ethics (IAEE) and St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (led by inter-disciplinary Departments of Medical Ethics, Health & Humanities and Medical Education), Bangalore India.

The theme of the conference is Ethics Education: An Imperative for Future Generations. It aims to bring together different academic, legal, societal and cultural perspectives in the field of ethics education.

Abstracts are invited on the following areas:

We will be reserving 11th June for Workshops followed by the main Conference on 12-14 June 2025

  • Proposals (abstracts) for either oral presentations or posters at the Conference are welcome. Submit your abstract for the International Conference on Ethics Education before March 1, 2025, avail Early Bird Registration Options which close on March 15, 2025.

Format for Abstract submission for oral presentations and posters

  • To present either a poster or an oral presentation, you must submit an abstract of your work of around 250-500 words (not counting bibliography). The language of submission is English.

Information about the format of abstracts:

The Abstract must include:
  1. Name of the author/authors
  2. Designation and Affiliations
  3. Title of the abstract
  4. Topic of interest*
  5. Abstract
    • - Background
    • - Aim/Purpose
    • - Description of empirical methods and/or theoretical perspective
    • - Results, outcomes and implications
    • - Conclusions
    • - Keywords: max. 4 keywords, separated by a semicolon
  6. Format: Arial 11 points, - 1.5 line spacing
  7. The file must be saved and sent in PDF, saved as: author’s name (last name, name, initials), Oral/ Poster; Theme/topic. (Eg: Sharma,Ravi.Oral-EMS).

Acceptance communication: After the last date of receiving Abstracts, the decision of the Scientific Academic Committee will be communicated by March 31, 2025. At this time, the participant will be informed of the steps to follow to send either their poster or presentation and to confirm registration details in the conference.
